After Buck inhaled some possible toxic fumes Buck and Eddie were waiting for his test results.

“Look if something happens to me.” Buck said.

“Nothing is happening except those test results coming back negative. You’re gonna be alright.” Eddie said fighting back tears.

Buck grabbed his hand.

“Please just listen. Eddie I love you, and I’ve been too scared to tell you. I’m sorry for doing it like this but I can’t die with out you knowing the truth.” Buck cried.

Eddie shook his head as his eyes were full of tears.

“You have to be ok. You can’t say something like that and not be ok.” Eddie whispered.

Buck put his hand on Eddies cheek to wipe away the tears.

“I promise you’ll be ok no matter what. You have your family.” Buck said.

“I might be ok but I need you Buck. My family isn’t complete with out you.” Eddie said softly.

“Can I have just one kiss. In case this is my last chance.” Buck begged.

“No it’s not it’s not your last chance. This will be the first kiss of many.” Eddie said trying to reassure him self.

This kiss was very short because neither one could stop crying. Tears were streaming down their cheeks as they pulled each other closer for a hug.

“Mr. Buckley.” The Doctor said walking over with a file.

Buck and Eddie stood up hand in hand.

“So what is it?” Buck asked.

“All tests came back negative.” The Doctor smiled.

“I’m ok.” Buck said in shock.

The Doctor talked a little more with Buck before leaving.

Eddie was silent he hadn’t said a word.

“You were right. I’m fine.” Buck cried.

“Never scare me like that again.” Eddie whispered as he pulled Buck into a tight hug.

“Thank you for being here for me today. It was so hard, but having you by my side made it a lot easier” Buck said.

“That was so hard, but I’ll always be by your side. I’m sorry I couldn’t stay strong for you.” Eddie grabbed Bucks hand and kissed it. “I don’t know if I said it earlier, but I love you too.”
