Ok ouch! I’m changing this about cuz my heart can’t handle this one. If anyone wants to really follow this idea how it was suggested go ahead!

Buck has been having a hard time making amends with the rest of the 118 since the lawsuit. They haven’t talked very much.

They still had a group chat so Buck sent them a message:

“Hey,

So I don’t know if it’s anything to be concerned with but I’ve had a couple health issues as you know so I have to go in tomorrow for more testing.

He got 3 replies.

“Hope everything is ok.”-Hen.

“Maddie told me. It’s just procedure, don’t stress too much.”- Chimney.

“You make sure you listen to those doctors!”-Bobby

Everyone, but Eddie replied.

Buck laid in his hospital wondering if they’d show up, and heartbroken Eddie didn’t even text back.

Buck laid there heartbroken what he once had with Eddie was now gone. Eddie doesn’t care anymore.

Maddie walked in the room.

“Hey.” Maddie smiled nervously trying to be brave for Buck.

“They didn’t come. I knew they wouldn’t.” Buck frowned. “Maybe I’ll watch some tv.”

“No!” Maddie replied quickly.

“Why not?” Buck asked.

Maddie couldn’t come up with an answer quick enough and Buck turned on the tv to see the news coverage of a very dangerous call the 118 and other teams were on.

Bucks eyes filled with tears and Maddie began to cry to.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you I didn’t want to stress you out.” Maddie cried.

“I’m not upset you didn’t tell me I’m upset that things between me and the team are so bad. What if something happens to them.” Buck sighed.

A few hours later the whole team was there. Well everyone, but Eddie.

They all said they’d have been there sooner if they could have. No matter what happens they’ll always love him and be there for him.

“Where’s Eddie? He must still be pretty mad.” Buck said.

“You haven’t heard what happened?” Bobby said.

“What happened?”Buck panicked.

“Buck he’s ok, but Eddie is in the hospital right now. He got in a wreck last night.” Bobby said.

Buck got Eddies room number and ran up to see him.

He saw a bruised and cut up Eddie lying in his bed.

“Hey.” Eddie said cracking a smile.

Buck was just in shock he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

“I’m sorry I didn’t answer your text my phone got a little banged up.” Eddie laughed and winced in pain.

Buck was speechless.

“Buck I’m sorry. I’m sorry for everything after my wreck and your testing I realized how life can change in an instant. I don’t wanna waste any more time. Can you come a little closer I need to tell you something.”

Buck nodded and stood by Eddies bedside. Eddie reached his hand up taking Bucks hand in his.

“Buck I love you.” Eddie said.

Bucks eyes filled with tears as he took Eddies hand and kissed it.

“Eddie I love you too.” Buck smiled.

Eddie was completely better with in a few months and Bucks tests all came back ok.
