to be honest when people call out shows for queerbaiting, more often than not, I think they’re reading too much into it but with 9-1-1 ….. holy moly. they use SO many common romantic tropes I struggle to read it as anything other than a budding romance.

• A stranger assumes that buck is Christophers other dad and buCK DOESN’T CORRECT THEM
• Eddie calls Buck out on not spending enough time with Christopher
• “There’s no one I trust with my son more than you”
• The way bobby looks right at eddie whenever he’s talking about buck
• “…they weren’t my type” “Not mine either”
• Eddie proudly showing chim and hen a photograph of buck and Christopher on his phone
• Eddie’s aunt very suggestively saying “who’s this?” when she meets Buck
• “…raising any child alone is rough” *cue buck staring thoughtfully at eddie and Christopher*
• The way everyone at the 118 just looks back and forth between buck and eddie in the post-tsunami christopher reunion scene
• Eddie: *shows buck a picture of chris* Buck: I LOVE KIDS
• EVERYONE’S FACES WHEN THEY’RE ARGUING IN THE MARKET LIKE A MARRIED COUPLE
• Eddie getting buck out of bed (with a key to his apartment???????)
• “So does this boy crush on eddie mean you’re finally ready to move on from Abby?”
• Buck talking to the old gay man about his marriage
• THE WHOLE FIRST EPISODE OF SEASON 2

Recent Christmas episode, when Eddie said it would be nice to, “Bring all the boys together”, then gestures to Buck.
