Need A Little Time

Buck and Eddie had shared a moment. Buck couldn’t hold his feelings back any longer. He told him he told him everything. Buck laid in bed and the memories circulated In his mind.

After hours of replaying the worst night he woke up wishing it was a dream, but he knew it was real.

“Eddie I love you and I’ve been in love with you for a long time. I feel different with you different than ever before.” Buck could just hear the words he’d said.

He groaned knowing he had to go to work and see Eddie. See then man who rejected him.

“Buck I can’t.” Thats all Eddie said before he left Bucks. But it was so painful. The rejection The fear the relationship they once shared would never be the same.

Buck got to work to see Eddie. Buck ignored him and made sure to continue all day unless the job forced communication.

“Hey.” Eddie said.

“Look I’m sorry, we are still friends I just need a little time ok. This is mortifying for me and it’s to awkward right now but I promise I’m not gonna stop coming around. I’ll still be there for movie nights and everything.” Buck said with a forced smile before leaving.

When Buck got home he heard a knock on the door. He opened it, and it was Eddie. Before he even had a chance to say anything Eddie had already pulled him closer and connected their lips for probably the best kiss he’d ever had.

“I’m sorry.” Eddie whispered as he rested his forehead on Bucks. I was just so scared that If I let you in and I let the words out of how I feel that it will just hurt so much more if you leave me.”

“Eddie I would never and could never do that ok. You’re stuck with me.” Buck smirked .

“I love you Buck and I’m sorry I hadn’t said it yet.” Eddie sighed.
